Hometown: Havertown, PA My freshman year at Penn State I was overwhelmed to say the least. I wanted to get involved in THON, but there are way too many tables at that involvement fair I had no idea where to go. Sophomore year my friend (Jackie Paquin) brought me to the first FOTO meeting and I immediately knew this was where I belonged. You get out of this organization what you put into it. Go to all of the bake sales, canvassing weekends, fundraisers, anything you can and you won't regret it. It's hard to describe the feeling in the BJC on THON weekend, but its something you won't ever forget. Good luck this year FOTO!!! I can't wait to see all of the wonderful things you accomplish. |
