Hi everyone!!!! Happy Foto Meeting Monday!
For those of you who do not know me, My name is Alicia and I graduated in May of 2023 (sigh) I danced in THON 2023 for FOTO and was the COMM chair for my junior and senior year, with the GOAT Tanner.
FOTO holds all the people and memories that made my college experience what it was. In my time, I saw Logan get cured of cancer, Matty get his spark back, Megan become a full blown adult, and Brooke join our FOTO fam, along with all the other accomplishments their siblings have had. Im sure theres a million more things but FOTO can be pretty cool. Not to mention our amazing families still keep up with us alumni, which is something super special.
You guys have great momentum going and are being led by some of the greatest people I had the pleasure of spending my time in FOTO with. Seeing your total last year had us alumni so shook and I have a sneaky feeling now that El Pres is 21, you’re gonna take it over. For those of you who remember me, chances are you saw me once I came out of my shell and made a fool dancing all over and barking at IM Football opponents. For those of you who still feel timid coming around and talking to the stranger next to you, I promise that will all change the second you are banded together for 46 hours heckling the random org failing to overthrow our section. Everyone is here for the same reason and I promise not as scary as they look! I can proudly say I met all of my favorite people being in your same shoes.
Make the most of it, spend time with the families, DO A NIGHT SHIFT, dance like a crazy person, and remember YOU are making the world of a difference!!! You all make me so so proud and I’ll see you at Barns & in the stands THON WEEEKKEENNNDD:)))))))))
